ABOUT THE TEAM

Welcome to the web site of Newton Aycliffe Sports Club Junior F.C Development section. We welcome boys & girls who would like to learn footballing skills in a fun environment. We are a Charter Standard Development Club which shows that although we are a group of volunteers, we do try to be as professional as possible in our approach to developing our young members.

Child safety is paramount & we have an appointed Child Welfare Officer who ensures club members comply with the F.A. Child Protection Policy, Procedures & Practices.

To run an organisation as big as ours takes a lot of hard work and commitment from many people, all with the same goal: - To encourage children regardless of race, creed, gender or ability to experience the joy of football and further develop their skills, understanding and commitment needed to play competitive football.

Our club does not solely concentrate on playing football. We promote interested members (managers, coaches or players & helpers) who express an interest in coaching, refereeing etc. to attain the appropriate accreditation wherever it is practically possible.

Our managers and coaches have successfully completed (or plan to complete) the F.A. accredited coaching certificates & First Aid courses.

We are proud to boast that a number of our players have been scouted by local Premier & other professional clubs. Good luck to them all.

This site was set up not only for the members of Newton Aycliffe Sports Club Junior F.C. but also to make new contacts and friendships with other junior football clubs around the world. Anyone interested please contact David Prior with your suggestions.

How qualified/capable is your football team's registered first aider?
Qualified and fully capable
Has done some basic training but is hardly qualified. It's just to meet regulations really.
Don't have a registered first aider - we blag it!
Don't officially need a registered first aider
Don't even know who our first aider is!
